Recipe:
Pizza crust
๐ 2.5 cups flour
๐ 2 1/4 tsp active yeast.
๐ 1 T coconut sugar
๐ 3/4 tsp salt .
๐ 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp of dried Italian seasoning. 1 T of vegetable stock seasoning
๐ 2 Tbsp olive oil.
๐ 1 cup warm water
Method:
1. Add your yeast to the warm water. Then add sugar. Stir briefly and then leave in a warm place. Leave for 10 mins or until foamy.
2. Add all remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
3. Add olive oil to yeast mixture. Add more flour if too runny/add more water if too doughy. Leave to rise covered, for at least an hour.
4. Roll out dough
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
2. Spread a layer of basil pesto on your dough.
3. Layer on your mozzarella & toppings.
4. Spread some vegan butter to the crust to make it more golden during baking.
5. Bake for 20 minutes.
Basil pestoโจ1 cup fresh basil leaves (packed)โจยฝ cup pine nuts, toastedโจ1 clove garlic โจ1/2 tsp of miso pasteโจยฝ cup extra virgin olive oil
Juice of half a lemonโจSalt and ground black pepper to taste
1 tsp of onion powder
Blend all together!
