She is an animal lover and we have seen her work for the betterment of animals always. Yashma Gill has been very candid about her spiritual journey and she has shared earlier that she felt like an atheist and she has found her way back towards Allah.
Yashma Gill performed her first Umrah last year with her father and sister and it was a super emotional journey for her. In an interview with Rabia Anum, she revealed that she does not even remember how she planned to take the Umrah trip and things just happened. She said that it is simply because Allah had summoned her that she went.

She also shared how emotional she was when she saw Kaabah in front of her eyes for the first time. She said that she could not even believe that she was there and forgot all the prayers she had planned. She just asked from Allah which Allah knew was better for her. She said that she performed Umrah twice and it was an extremely emotional experience for her as she kept thinking that she is making mistakes, so she performed Umrah again the same day.
