Model Naeem Haque Shares His Late Son’s Rare Medical Condition
Parents are the biggest blessing in the world and we see the poof of it every day in our lives. Taking care of your children and especially children with special needs is a big task. Parents taking care of differently abled children are superstars and should be applauded and encouraged. Our society has not been very supportive of couples who have special needs children but this needs to be changed and people like Naeem Haque and his wife are paving the way for it.
Naeem Hauq is an architect as well as a model and actor. He has films like Yalghaa and Maan Jao Na under his belt but it is not his work in showbiz only which makes him a superstar. He was a guest on Shan e Suhoor alongside his wife where he shared the condition of his late son and how he approached the situation that he was in.
Naeem shared that his wife Ayesha Ahmed is one strong lady as she managed her career alongside taking care of their son. The couple revealed that they found out about their son’s special needs after he was about 1 year old and no one in the whole world was able to diagnose the child as he had a very rare condition, found only in 50 children in the whole world and the test which confirms it was not even invented when their son was born. Their son Izaan remained with them for 9 years and passed away about three months ago.
Little Izaan had NGLY-1 deficiency which is a condition when the body is not able to create the required proteins thus causing many issues. Izaan was the only child in Pakistan who had this condition. Naeem and Ayesha remembered their son and motivated all those super parents out there who take care of their special children.
