Adeel Afzal is an emerging Pakistani actor who is now famous as the poet Nasaaz from Parizaad. He got fame through Hum TV’s block buster drama serial Parziaad, Adeel Afzal’s character got huge critical acclaim. Drama Parizaad surely helped him to evolve as a good actor and he became a known face in Pakistan. Despite his short role, Adeel convinced his fans with his excellent acting skills.
Recently, Adeel Afzal talked about the problems of the new actors which they face while getting their payments. While sharing his frustration with Talha Ahad in his podcast, Adeel Afzal said, “We have thought that we will go for short cuts but we would not follow the mechanism (procedure). I’m an actor, I should be approached by the agency which is supposed to tackle all the money and dates related issues. I have worked in a play, now I am getting a contract after three months of doing my work, getting fame, now, what would I do of such a contract?, which I am getting after doing my work, see, I have worked in a drama, I called to the makers for my money, they said to me, ‘we have signed your check but we don’t have money in our bank account”, can you believe this? It’s a big channel and they have to give me just a few thousands.
